68 million Americans – or one in for adults – are expected to bet on the Super Bowl this weekend, smashing previous betting records.

Bets on the big game are expected to spike by 35% compared to 2023’s game, with more than $23 billion placed on which team might win.  Only $1.5 billion of those bets will be placed with legal outlets.

Sports betting is legal in 38 states, as well as D.C.
