A New Jersey animal shelter is giving ex-lovers the chance for revenge as well as an incentive to control the pet population. 

Homeward Bound Adoption Center in Blackwood, New Jersey, is hosting a “Neuter Your Ex” donation drive. 

For $50, you can name a feral cat after your ex and pay to have the kitty spayed or neutered. 

The idea came from an idea from a shelter volunteer and the phrase, “some things shouldn’t breed.”

The feral cats will be released back to their cat colony after the procedure. 

Of course, the event is running for Valentine’s Day.
