The store closed in 2022 after thieves tried to set fire to it and two other stores to create a distraction so know one would notice a robbery. 

The Walmart won’t host an “around the clock” station but will serve as an “office” where cops can “get work done, charge their electronics, and meet up with other officers or law enforcement personnel”, according to ‘Consumer Affairs’.

Walmart hopes that anyone thinking of stealing will have second thoughts when they see police department logos or officers.
