Laundry Hacks and Tips
Kristin Humphrey, the owner of Home Clean Heroes Of Houston, says if you want to speed up the drying process while doing laundry, pop a tennis ball or two into the dryer. She says they’ll also help with wrinkles.
Other laundry hacks Humphrey shared include:
- Leave your washer door open after every cycle to allow the machine to air dry so that it doesn’t build up bacteria.
- Add distilled white vinegar to your washer’s fabric softener section. It freshens the machine, helps fight static and can remove residue that some waxy liquid fabric softeners can leave behind. It can also help fluff up old towels.
