U.S. Drug Shortages Reach Record High
The United States is experiencing an unprecedented shortage of certain drugs.
According to reports, 323 drugs were in shortage in the first quarter of this year. The previous quarterly record was 320 in 2014.
Some of the hard-to-get medications include the weight loss drug Wegovy, diabetes injection and weight loss drug Zepbound, antibiotics, and certain drugs that are key for cancer patients.
There is also a shortage of certain ADHD medications.
