Frito Lay To Air Eight Different Groundhog Day Commercials Featuring Ned From The Classic Movie
Frito-Lay is leaning into nostalgia to get you to buy potato chips.
On Friday (February 2nd), there will be eight different commercials to celebrate Groundhog Day.
The ads will feature actor Stephen Tobolowsky.
He portrayed Ned in the 1993 Groundhog Day movie. 
The character will be stuck doing the same thing over and over again, like in the film, but with different Lay’s flavors each time.
