Netflix is sunsetting its DVD-by-mail service.

Giving customers movies by mail is how Netflix began 25 years ago. The company has evolved, but it still has customers who get DVDs sent to them.

To close things in September, Netflix is offering legacy clients the chance to get ten extra discs in their last shipment.

Customers must sign up to be eligible for the promotion.

Netflix will send out its final red envelopes on September 29th.

After the final Netflix DVDs are mailed out on Sept. 29, the company says, it will accept returns until Oct. 27, 2023.
