Percentage of Music on Streaming Services Never Played in 2023 is Staggering
A Luminate reveals a streaming iceberg, sharing the stagger amount of music that didn’t get a single play on streaming services last year.
Compared to the only 10 songs from 2023 that had over a billion streams globally, 45.6 million pieces of music didn’t “register a single stream”, according to the company’s data research.
Another nearly 80 million only had between one and ten streams in the entire year of 2023.
