Average Cell Phone User Gets 14 Spam Calls A Month
Voice security company Hiya has revealed that the average cell phone user gets 14 monthly spam calls, with 25% of all unknown calls considered “unwanted.”
Analyzing 98 billion phone calls worldwide between January and June 2023, Hiya says insurance scams are this year’s top phone scams.
Other big phone scams include Amazon impersonators.
The company also found an increasing use of AI to make spam calls.
