Gen Z doesn’t want to spend money to find out if someone is a match. 

According to a new survey,  65% of dating app users aged 18-27 engaged in an online meeting over a traditional first date.

Virtual dating was popular during the pandemic, but Gen Z is bringing it back to save some money and time. 

One expert said, “Users in that younger age group just absolutely don’t bat an eye at it, and they’re like, it’s efficient, it’s great. You can have a quick chat and you can see if there’s that spark.”
