Google Forced To Pay Man After Showing Him Naked On Street View
An Argentenian man has won a lawsuit against Google after a Google Street View car photographed him naked in his yard and posted it to for the world to see.
The man didn’t explain why he was naked in his yard, located in a small town outside of Buenos Aires, but the camera caught him bent over, giving the world a chance to see his naked behind and his home address.
A lower court first dismissed his suit, saying he put himself in the situation by “walking in inappropriate conditions in his yard”, but after an appeal the court ruled that Google invaded the man’s privacy.
“No one wants to appear to the world as God created them,” the ruling read. The man, a police officer, was awarded around $15,000 in compensation.
