He knew where to go

A dog walked straight into a police station recently like he had something important to report.

Officers say the friendly pup first rang the front doorbell before letting himself inside and calmly waiting in the lobby.

At first, they thought the dog might belong to someone nearby.

But when no owner appeared, officers checked his collar and discovered he had wandered away from home.

Instead of panicking, the dog seemed completely comfortable sitting with officers while they tracked down his family.

Police later joked that he handled the situation “better than most people filing reports.”

Not long after, the dog was safely reunited with his owner.

And honestly, if you’re going to ask for help…

walking straight into a police station seems like a pretty smart move.
