Before playlists… there was the dial.

Remember When Radio Was the Only Thing in the Car?

Before playlists… before Bluetooth… before skipping songs… there was one button you never touched: scan.

There was a time when getting in the car meant one thing — turning on the radio and seeing what was already playing.

No choosing the song.
No rewinding.
No skipping.

Just hoping you caught the beginning before the DJ talked over the intro.

And somehow… that made it better.

You discovered songs you didn’t expect. Heard bands you didn’t know yet. And if your favorite track came on, you stayed parked until it ended — even if you were already late.

Funny how the less control we had… the more fun it felt.

And if you ever waited by the radio hoping your song would play… you definitely remember what came next when technology “improved.”
