Adam Sandler and his new sequel, Happy Gilmore 2, are a hit!

The long-awaited sequel to his 1996 film has officially become Netflix’s biggest U.S. film debut ever. 

According to the Netflix Top 10 released Tuesday, the film amassed 46.7 million views in its first three days, also making it the best opening ever for an Adam Sandler Netflix film, including fan favorites like Murder Mystery, Hubie Halloween, and The Week Of.

The release of the sequel also reignited love for the original Happy Gilmore, which landed at No. 3 on the global top 10 list with 11.4 million views.

Sandler has a busy fall ahead of him, starting with his comedy tour, Adam Sandler: You’re My Best Friend Tour, which will begin in September and hit 37 arenas.
