This month’s full moon, called a Buck Moon, will be visible tonight, July 9th and be at its peak on Thursday, July 10th at 4:37pm.

Since it peaks in an afternoon, you’ll need to catch it just as the sunsets in your time zone.

It’s called a Buck Moon because this is the time of year when the antlers on a male deer, known as a buck, begin to grow after their annual shed.
