Gambling Addict Learns Meaning of “Adding Insult To Injury” . . .
I understand the need for extreme measures like this, but it would still SUCK (with a side order of a kick to the groin) . . . A guy won a $57,000 jackpot at a Pennsylvania casino earlier this month, but he won’t get any of it, because he has a gambling problem, and he’d previously banned HIMSELF from the casino. Pennsylvania has a “self-exclusion list,” which allows gambling addicts to block themselves from betting in casinos, online gaming, even fantasy sports. And you can “exclude” yourself for different amounts of time, months, years, or FOREVER. And THIS guy had “self-excluded himself for LIFE.” So not only was he denied his $57,000 jackpot, but he was also cited for trespassing at the casino . . . because he’d put himself on that list.
