Good News: A Veteran Can Retire And A Bear Rescue

- 88-year-old Army veteran Ed Bambas recently worked at a Meijer grocery store, before a social media influencer named Samuel Weidenhofer raised nearly $2 million to help him retire. But now Ed has leftover money, so he’s paying it forward.
Ed just launched the “For Your Service” campaign, which helps raise money for veterans in every state, who are struggling to retire.
- Firefighters in Colorado came to the rescue, after a black bear was found “zonked out and stuck” high in a tree. Crews from the Colorado Springs Fire Department worked with wildlife officials, to safely remove the sleepy bear, and relocate it without injuries.
Officials later said the bear was healthy, but a little groggy.
