Good News: Dogs and Babies

Here are a couple more “Good News Stories” making the rounds . . .

1) A gust of wind blew a baby stroller into Lake Michigan in Chicago last Wednesday. But the baby in it is okay after Lio Cundiff  dove in to save her. Paramedics got her to a hospital, and she was listed in good condition. Lio told reporters he’s not a strong swimmer, he just reacted. The water temperature in Lake Michigan is barely above freezing.

2) And a dog that got abandoned at the Las Vegas airport this month has a new forever home. He’s a two-year-old mini golden doodle named “JetBlue” (because he was left at a JetBlue counter), and the owner got arrested and never claimed him. Thousands of people reached out to adopt him, but JetBlue ended up going to one of the airport COPS who responded to the call. Officer Skeeter Black took him home on Saturday.
