New Trend: Wearing Cleats in Everyday Life

There have been a lot of ridiculous SHOE TRENDS, most notable among them, Crocs. Crocs Boots, Crocs Sandals, Platform Crocs, and High-Heel Crocs. But Crocs are at least somewhat comfortable. The new trend is people wearing SOCCER CLEATS when NOT playing soccer, as in everyday life. People wearing them as they are out running errands. It’s become a viral with the hashtag #BootsOnlySummer. Apparently that’s turned into a fashion statement. Practical? No, not at all. It’s easy to slip, they make a loud click-clacking sound, and hard surfaces also cause the spikes to wear down faster.
