On “National Burger Day”, Our Favorite Type Now Is “Chicken Burgers”???

It’s National Hamburger Day, and DoorDash looked at the most popular type of burger in all 50 states. But right off the bat, I might need to call B.S. on a technicality: Is a chicken sandwich a “burger”? They claim “chicken burgers” are now the most popular type of burger in the U.S. (Unless you’re talking about ground chicken molded into a patty, it’s a chicken “sandwich” in my book.) They claim “hamburgers” or “cheeseburgers” were the most ordered type of burger in 14 states, compared to 17 states where “chicken burgers” were #1. “Veggie burgers” was tops in 13 states, and “turkey burgers” win six states. And yes, as EMBARASSED as I am to say this, according to DoorDash, OHIO is one of those misguided states that voted the “chicken burger” as our favorite “burger”. By the way, a bunch of burger places are running deals today, including Burger King, Wendy’s, Dairy Queen, Buffalo Wild Wings.
