The States That Have the Worst Roads

If you drive a lot, you’re well aware that the roads in a lot of places are REALLY bad. But where are they the WORST? The website Mental Floss just put out a list of the states with the best and worst ROAD CONDITIONS, according to data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. The state with the best roads is . . . Indiana (It’s unclear if they included the track of the Indianapolis 500 . . . ???). The rest of the top 5, Kansas, South Dakota, Wyoming and Vermont. The state with the worst roads is . . . Rhode Island. Followed by Hawaii, New Mexico, Connecticut and Mississippi. I gotta be honest, any list of states with “bad roads” that doesn’t have Michigan at the top of the list is somewhat suspect!
