Things to Look Forward to in June

It’s a new month, and here are a few things to look forward to in June . . .

The NBA Finals (between Denver and Miami) start tonight, and run through at least June 9th (game 7 would be on the 18th).

The Stanley Cup Finals (between the Florida Panthers and Vegas Golden Knights) start this Saturday.

And golf’s 123rd U.S. Open is the 15th through the 18th.

ON TV:

Season 16 of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” starts on the 7th.

“The Bachelorette” is back on the 26th.

And season three of “The Witcher” premieres June 29th (trust me, your wife is excited).

IN THEATERS:

“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” opens tomorrow.

“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” comes out next Friday.

And the final Indiana Jones movie, “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”, lands June 30th.

AND FINALLY, THE HOLIDAYS:

The big ones are Father’s Day on the 18th, and Juneteenth on the 19th.

It’s also Pride Month, and the first official day of summer is the 21st.

A few more . . . tomorrow is National Donut Day (6/2), Flag Day and National Bourbon Day are both on the 14th. The 19th is National Martini Day, and June is “World Naked Bike Ride Month” (for the Northern Hemisphere)
