Bechtol Victorious In Hancock County Commissioner GOP Primary

Four candidates were vying for the Republican nomination for a seat on the Hancock County Board of Commissioners.

The candidates were: incumbent Tim Bechtol, Gina Campbell, Orion Jones, and Rachel Rader.

There were no Democrats running for commissioner in the primary, according to the Hancock County Board of Elections.  

Unofficial results from the Hancock County Board of Elections show Tim Bechtol victorious, pulling in 48 percent of the vote.

Rachel Rader got 26 percent, Gina Campbell 13 percent, and Orion Jones 11 percent. 

All election results are unofficial until certified by the board of elections.

Tim Bechtol, William Bateson and Jeffrey Hunker currently make up the Hancock County Board of Commissioners.

Bateson and Hunker are not up for reelection.
