You insert it… and suddenly it’s question time.

• Cash back?
• Confirm amount?
• Would you like to donate?
• Enter PIN.
• Re-enter PIN because apparently you breathed wrong.

I’m buying toothpaste. Not applying for clearance.

And when there’s a line behind you?
You feel like you’re defusing a bomb while strangers silently judge your button choices.

I miss when money just left quietly. Now it needs approval from a board meeting.
