Survey: 43% Fear AI Will Derail 2024 Presidential Race

A new poll of 2,000 finds that 43% of Americans are worried that AI will disrupt this November’s election.

More than three-quarters fear that AI-generated content will be used to impersonate candidates in order to spread misinformation.

Nearly have of those polled are already scrutinizing political ads, videos and more for deepfake content.

85% also worry that their personal data will be breached when signing up for a candidate’s website.
