Wide open road behind me… REALLY?

People who pull out right in front of you…
no traffic behind you…
wide open road…

…and then immediately slow down to turn.

That’s today’s Steve’s Heartburn for the Day—and Brenda absolutely nailed this one.

It’s not even the turning that makes people mad.

It’s the timing.

You’re driving along peacefully, nobody behind you for miles, and somehow THAT’S the exact moment somebody decides they absolutely must pull out directly in front of you.

Then comes the slow-motion turn.

Brake lights.
Creeping speed.
No urgency whatsoever.

At that point, you’re not turning…
you’re filming a nature documentary about cautious driving.

And somehow every one of these people acts shocked that you had to hit your brakes.

You couldn’t wait TWO more seconds?!

If you’re gonna pull out in front of somebody… at least hit the gas.
